Stainless Steel Coils

The materials are packaged in rolls according to the desired dimensions after hot rolling or cold rolling processes. We have various qualities and finishes of stainless steel coils in stock ready.

We always have AISI 304 (1.4301), AISI 316L (1.4401, 1.4404), AISI 321 (1.4541), AISI 316Ti (1.4571), AISI 314 (1.4841), AISI 309 (1.4828), AISI 410 (1.4006) grades in our stock as ready to load.

Stainless Steel Grades

Austenitic stainless steels represent steel alloys that have the austenitic phase structure. It is the most widely used stainless steel group.
Austenitic stainless steel grades with a face-centered cubic crystal lattice structure cannot be hardened and magnetized by heat treatment.
However, there are academic studies in which the spontaneous conversion of the austenitic structure to the martensitic structure at room temperature has been observed and reported. These studies have revealed that steel alloys in the austenitic phase structure are also self-magnetizable.
Therefore, the perception and inferences in the industry that "if it is magnetized, it is not stainless" are wrong.
(Ref:Mészáros, István, and János Prohászka. "Magnetic investigation of the effect of α′-martensite on the properties of austenitic stainless steel." Journal of Materials Processing Technology 161.1-2 (2005): 162-168.)

It is an easy interpretation that almost any Metallurgist or Metallurgical/Materials Engineer can make to say that various phase transformations can occur by looking at the cooling curves.

You can find the Austenitic Stainless Steel Grades and all their details by using the search section on the Poyraz Stainless website.

Ferritic or super-ferritic stainless steel alloys are a class of alloys that is a chromium content of 10.5% or more, free of nickel or containing traces.

It can be magnetized.
The most commonly used ferritic stainless steel grade in Turkey and especially in Europe is AISI 430 (1.4016).
It is weak compared to other stainless steel grades in terms of corrosion resistance.
The stable price also triggers the extremely intensive use of the ferritic stainless steels class.

Stainless Steel Grades in our stock:
AISI 430F (1.4105), AISI 430 (1.4016), AISI 446 (1.4762)

The stainless alloy class that can be hardened by the mechanism called Precipitation Hardening is called PH steels.
Heat treatment can be applied, thus improving the mechanical properties.

AISI 630 (1.4542 or 17-4 PH) grade is the most widely used grade in this alloy class.
As a result of the metallurgical process known as precipitation hardening, the material grade has a magnetizable phase structure.

Please contact us for your stock supply requests of PH Stainless Steels.

PH stainless steel grades:
17-4 PH (630 - 1.4542) , 15-5 PH (1.4545-1.4548), 13-8 Mo PH (1.4534)

Martensitic Stainless Steels
Martensitic stainless steels have an ideal phase structure for applications where mechanical strength is high and relatively good.
It magnetizes.
Mechanical strength can be improved and hardened by heat treatment.

The most common martensitic stainless steel grades are grades 410, 420.
You can reach technical details on Poyraz Stainless website.

Martensitic Stainless Steel Grades:
AISI 420A,B,D (1.4021, 1.4028, 1.4034), AISI 440B,C (1.4112, 1.4125), AISI 416 (1.4005), AISI 410 (1.4006)
